2nd Annual Season of Giving Changes Christmas for Michiana Family

by TJ Jorgensen

Members of Street Kids Care took part in the second annual Season of Giving, where softball players, family and friends helped make the season brighter for two struggling families this holiday season.

12/18/2012- In December of 2011, members of Street Kids Care partnered with Epic Church of Mishawaka and Grape Road Meijer to help brighten the holidays for a struggling family. On Tuesday evening, SKS once again partnered with Epic Church as well as Zolman Tire, Hacienda and once again Grape Road Meijer along with many others who are opening their hearts to help another family struggling to provide for each other this season.

"Epic Church is once again excited to be partnering with Streets Kids and Meijer to help make a difference for families and children within our community that are in need this Christmas," said Pastor Jeremy LeVan of Epic Church.

I am so grateful for those that took part, and to help spread the word of Street Kids Care and the Season of Giving. Our goal has always been to change lives, to make a difference. We did it last year and after seeing the smile on the face of that young girl, I know we did it again this holiday season.
